Finally! Beautiful Family {Wichita Family Photographer}

I am excited to say that I finally got J's whole family corralled in one place! You might remember her beautiful baby girls from this post a few weeks ago? We've been trying ever since to get her very busy husband in a picture, too. Yesterday it happened and here's the beauty of it all.....

Sweet, Sweet Babies {Wichita Newborn Twins Photographer}

Oh, I do so love me some newborn twins. I happily hit up an acquaintance to get my hands on these darling girls. I even offered to do it for free but she paid me in some super delicious home grown organic produce! I CAN be bought for the right price, people! ;)

M and E are the most darling, teeniest, 2 week old babies I think I've ever seen. Took me right back to my twins' newborn days. Oh how I loved to snuggle their delicious heads. I'd do it again in a heart beat.

Mama, enjoy these. This session was such a blessing to me. I'm pretty sure I got the right baby with the right image. Just go with it..... ;)

And of course together!

I Know How To Spell H-A-M {Wichita Children's Photographer}

And it starts with an M. ;) This is M and I and they are pretty darn C-U-T-E! Miss I wasn't really having the camera tonight so I was very grateful that my first shot ended up being the best (which rarely happens) and that I got not one but two of her beautiful smile. M, on the other hand, was a total cheese, a complete ham, and I got dozens of really gorgeous and fun pics of her antics.

I hope you had a nice time out with friends tonight, Mom. Enjoy your sneaks! :)

Pretty as a Flower {Wichita Newborn Photographer}

This baby girl is nicknamed after a beautiful flower and it's quite fitting. I really enjoyed spending my morning snuggling her tiny head. It almost made me want another baby, but not quite enough to do anything about that. ;) We didn't get everything shot today because of pooping and nursing and what looks like a one week growth spurt so I'll be back tomorrow with a few more. In the mean time, enjoy these. I sure did.

A Highly Anticipated Birth! {Wichita Birth Photography}

I've been looking forward to attending the birth of Baby P pretty much since her conception. See, I was lucky enough to get to attend the birth of her big brother G 2.5 years ago. You guys worked so, so, so hard for this beautiful daughter and I am, as always, humbled by the strength of your relationship. The bond you share shines through in these images.

Much love,

working hard

Coming to you LIVE!!!!!!

You know, creating and launching a website is a lot like pregnancy and birth. The anticipation, the hard work, the sweat and tears, and finally when it's done you look and see this amazingly cool thing you've created. Only, my kids cost a touch more. ;)

Three Cute Kids {Wichita Family Photographer}

Back at my new favorite spot tonight! I met up with M, who I've "known" for several years through the Internet but tonight I got to meet with her in person! She has three adorable kiddos and they were so cooperative and listened so well. I really am in love with this new location. The weather has been beautiful and the light is just *muah*-gorgeous! I know it's going to be fabulous this fall for Christmas card pics!

Here's your sneaks Mom. It was SO cool to finally meet you and I had a total blast. :)

Ahhhh, the hazy days of summer are drawing to a close....

Into the Setting Summer Sun...{Wichita Children's Photographer}

I got to meet up with two of my favorite little cuties tonight and it's always a pleasure to see them and their Mom. We had quite the beautiful evening. And good thing! I worked up a bit of a sweat rolling all over the ground and tromping in the brush trying to get Little Miss B to smile! We woke her from a car nap and she was not amused to say the least. It's almost time for her big First Birthday Party. Big Sis did such a fantastic job trying her best to hold still while we worked with the baby. I do truly adore these two girls!

Here's your sneaks Mom, hope you enjoy them! :)

and one more cause I just can't resist...

Love to all!

I Need Your Belly! {Wichita Newborn and Maternity Photographer}

I'm currently looking for a pregnant model. In exchange for your help you will get a FREE full digital session. Yes, folks, I said FREE. Read on for the 'strings'.....

Model must be 34-38 weeks pregnant. She must be fit (You're pregnant, totally get that! I just need a fairly fit belly for what I have in mind) and still comfortable enough to move up and down off the ground (we will be outside). In exchange for your time, you will get 20+ full edited images and a print release. You will also be welcome to order prints at my normal print prices.

Session will take anywhere from 2-3 hours and may include multiple locations. You'll have to wear what I want you to wear, stand where I want you to stand, and your family may or may not be included in the images. Basically, you are acting as a model only but you get the finished product anyway (for free!) and I make no guarantees it will be what you were looking for, so to speak. These will be in my style, to represent my artistic abilities and it will likely be included on print or web advertising.

In addition to this, I am also looking for a pregnant twin belly and a twin newborn session. These will also be done completely free of charge. Contact me if you are or know someone who is expecting multiples and would be interested in a free session or two! Same strings attached to these sessions as well (except for the comfortable part....gosh I was miserable in my last trimester with the twins!). Twin Mamas can be anywhere from 30-36 weeks gestation.

Hope you are all enjoying the summer as it dies away for the year! Cannot believe kids will be going back to school soon. I'm gearing up for Christmas family photos and have some fun mini-sessions planned for this Fall/Halloween so keep your eyes on the blog! Website coming this week!

Back to Simplicity {Wichita Photogapher}

Next week I will be launching my new Flash site! I am very, very excited to unveil this to you all! I hope to have it ready by Wednesday.

Long nights spent planning. And then it came time to add my price structure.

And I realized that I'm not happy with the switch I made last month, for various reasons. I'm a simple girl. I like things to be easy. I'm pretty sure many of my clients are the same way.

Breathtaking is going back to fully digital sessions! Prints are, of course, still available for those who want to order archival quality images to frame.

$50 deposit holds your spot
$250 due the day of the shoot
We spend an hour or so having a ball and making great pictures!
A gallery of images will be opened to you two weeks from your session date and will be up to peruse for about 2 weeks time
You pick your best 20 and I burn them to disk and mail with a print release and my blessings
If you want to order prints, you let me know

That's it!

To celebrate the decision that makes me happiest and the launch of my website, the first five sessions to book who mention this post and pay at the time of booking get half off! :D

The Best Light on the Prairie! {Wichita Family Photographer}

I've been looking high and low for a great field area that isn't infested with fire ants, and I thought I might have found one.

Boy, was I ever right!

Book a session and see for yourself how gorgeous the golden sun setting over the Kansas prairie can be! ;)
